Conway Dental is proud to enter an exciting new chapter under the ownership of Dr. Mohammed Albomter, while continuing the tradition of compassionate, high-quality care our patients have trusted for decades. Founded in 1981, the practice has served the Woodstock community for over 48 years and remains deeply committed to the values it was built on: personalized care, respect for patients’ time, and a welcoming environment for every age.
To ensure a smooth and comfortable transition, Dr. Timothy Conway will remain with the practice for a period of time, working alongside Dr. Albomter. This allows patients to continue seeing familiar faces while getting to know the new lead dentist who will guide the practice forward.
Dr. Mohammed Albomter
Dr. Mohammed Albomter is a dedicated dentist and practice owner who brings a global perspective, advanced clinical training, and a genuine passion for patient-centered care to his work. Born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq, Dr. Albomter’s journey in dentistry spans continents and decades of education, leadership, and hands-on experience. He joined Conway Dental in Woodstock, IL, in 2025, inspired by the practice’s 48-year legacy of serving the community with integrity, trust, and high-quality care. The combination of modern dentistry and a warm, family-focused environment made Conway Dental the perfect place for him to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact.
Dr. Albomter’s education reflects his deep commitment to excellence, lifelong learning, and leadership in healthcare:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery: University of Baghdad (2007).
- Master of Healthcare Policy Administration: National Louis University (2019).
- Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry: University of Illinois at Chicago (2022).
- Chicago Implant Institute: Advanced Implant Training (2023).
He has pursued extensive continuing education, including over 300 CE hours through the Chicago Implant Institute Implant Continuum, certification as an Invisalign® provider, advanced implant education through the University of Implant Educator, aesthetic dentistry and smile makeover training, and ongoing studies at the Dawson Academy.
As an active member of the dental and healthcare community, Dr. Albomter maintains affiliations with the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. His clinical philosophy centers on building genuine connections with patients, listening carefully, explaining treatment options clearly, and creating a comfortable, confidence-building experience. For Dr. Albomter, the most rewarding part of dentistry is seeing patients leave more relaxed, informed, and happy than when they arrived.
Outside of the office, Dr. Albomter enjoys traveling, staying active through tennis, pickleball, and soccer, and spending quality time with his family. He has been married to his wife, Savanah, who is also a dentist, for nearly 15 years. Together, they are proud parents to two children: their son Ibrahim, who plays soccer with the Barcelona Academy, and their daughter Merna, a dedicated gymnast. Dr. Albomter is deeply grateful for his family, his profession, and the opportunity to make a positive difference in patients’ lives every single day.
Dr. Timothy Conway
Dr. Timothy Conway has been the heart of Conway Dental for more than four decades. With over 30 years of clinical experience, he built the practice on a foundation of trust, consistency, and patient comfort. From the very beginning, Dr. Conway was dedicated to creating a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, especially for young children and patients with dental anxiety, so everyone could feel at ease receiving the care they needed.
Since opening the practice in 1981, Dr. Conway has remained committed to lifelong learning, enrolling in continuing education courses every year to stay current with evolving dental techniques and technology. He is also known for valuing patients’ time, running efficiently and on schedule without ever compromising the quality of care.
As Dr. Conway begins transitioning out of ownership, his legacy continues through the strong relationships he built with patients and the high standards he established for the practice. His presence during this transition ensures continuity, familiarity, and peace of mind for long-time patients, while supporting Dr. Albomter as the new primary dentist leading Conway Dental into the future.
